Collaboration is at the heart of the SAIL into STEAM project. By bringing together diverse organizations from different sectors—sailing, education, technology, and sustainability—we ensure a holistic approach to learning. Each partner contributes their unique expertise, enriching the curriculum and expanding the impact of the project. Working together, we bridge the gap between formal education and practical experience, empowering students to explore STEAM subjects through the exciting world of sailing. Our shared vision creates a dynamic and innovative learning environment that benefits both students and educators.
One of the oldest and most respected sailing clubs in Serbia, Jedriličarski Klub Zemun brings a rich history of sailing excellence and youth education to the project. The club has a track record of producing champions in seven internationally recognized classes. They run a free summer sailing school for children aged 7-12, making them the ideal partner for developing and delivering the sailing components of the SAIL into STEAM curriculum.
Their deep knowledge of sailing ensures that our program is grounded in real-world experience, providing students with the skills they need both on and off the water.
Ksenija Joksimović is a software developer at Fracturecode, where she has been leading innovative TrackNTrace. Ksenija also has a deep passion for sailing since the age of 10. She has competed in over seven sailing classes and secured multiple national championship titles, making her a distinguished figure in both the tech and sailing communities. She also actively contributes to the development of youth sailing programs and educational initiatives at Sailing Club Zemun.
